THE BEAUTY OF THE BOOK
Starting of “The Beauty of Book”, illustrated books’ festival, which this year involves five Elsa valley’s municipalities. At the Saint Charles Borromeo’s Oratory in Castelfiorentino: “The places of Leonardo in Massimo Tosi’s watercolours ”. BEING LEONARDO DA VINCI
At the “Teatro della Pergola”, Massimiliano Finazzeri Flory stages the true Leonardo da Vinci’s story. “Being Leonardo da Vinci – An impossible interview”, with Leonardo ‘s face and renaissance language, to celebrate, 500 years after his death, the scientist, the painter, the designer, who has changed the way of thinking about art, technique and science. Through the impossible interview’s format , Massimiliano Finazzer Flory becomes Leonardo, wearing a period costume and a makeup that is a real reconstruction of the Vinci genius’s face.
